1. Register your Internet network to unlimited package in accordance with the provider you use. If using other package than unlimited package, your pulse will be quickly run out. Because if it is used as a Portable Hotspot, android mobile phones will require more bandwidth.

2. Go to Settings, Wireless and networks, Tethering and portable hotspot, Mobile AP Settings. Then tap Configure Mobile AP.

Network SSID, is the wireless name that you want to transmitted. This name will appear on other wireless devices when searching for your hotspot network.

Security, this menu to determine whether your network need use a password or not when other devices try to connect to your hotspot network. If you create a hotspot network in a safe area like home, you can select Open or without using a password. However, if you make it in public places, use passwords (WPA2PSK) is highly recommended to prevent unknown user in your hotspot network.

3. Then tap Save, and check Mobile AP.

Up here you've successfully to create a hotspot network using android mobile phone. After that, search the network on other devices, and connect to the network. When connected, these devices are able to enjoy the Internet network that transmitted by android mobile phone.

With android mobile phone, now you do not need a modem and Access Point anymore to create a hotspot network. But keep in mind, do not use android mobile phone as a Portable Hotspot for long time because the mobile phone hardware resistance is limited when compared with a device that is dedicated to networking hotspots such as Access Point.
